We now have the following parades for September 2022.  Please fill out the Jotform linked below so we can make sure we all have everything.

  • Parade 1 – 9/10/22 – Saturday – General Montgomery Day Parade – Montgomery NY

  • Parade 2 – 9/17/22 – Saturday – SCVFA Parade – White Lake, NY
    Line up at: 1:00pm
    Step off at: 2:00pm
  • Parade 3 – 9/24/22 – Saturday – OCVFA Parade – Newburgh, NY
    Line up at: 12:00pm
    Step off at: 1:00pm
  • Event 1 – 9/11/22 – Sunday – Town of Deerpark Ceremony – Deerpark town Hall
    Event start time : 8:15am
    End Time : 9:45am
  • Event 2 – 9/11/22 – Sunday – Airport park Matamoras Ceremony 
    Event Start time – 6:30pm – TBD

Summer concert series at Farnum Park, Port Jervis:

Confirmed dates:

  1. June 27
  2. July 11 (small groups and marching band will perform)
  3. July 25

Pending:

  1. Cornwall Library Concert, June 20 CANCELED
  2. Thematic concert in Deer Park in the fall.

Broome Street Bands – Events in parks – stand/sit and play (ALL MEMBERS are encouraged to attend – Music to be scanned/printed and shared)

Confirmed Dates:

  1. Flag day ceremony, Port Jervis City Hall June 14th 5:30pm. Patriotic music and small ceremony.
  2. Matamoras Veterans Park Ceremony on June 25th at 11am. Meet at 10:30am. We play before the ceremony starts.
  3. Deerpark Town Hall 9/11 ceremony on September 11 at 8:15am
  4. Matamoras Veteran’s Park 9/11 ceremoney on September 11 at 6:30pm

Parades – Marching Band

  1. Memorial Day Parade – Meet at 10:00am at PJ Middle School – Step off at 10:30am. Marching from Middle School to the Park @ the church.
  2. Soapbox Derby Parade – Sunday June 12th. Meet at Drew Church at 11:40 done by 12:30.  CANCELED
  3. July 4th Parade in Glen Spey. Meet at 11:30 at Lumberland firehouse
  4. Port Jervis Fireman’s Parade – July 9th. Meet at Al’s Music at 1pm Step off at 2pm
  5. General Montgomery Day – Sept 10th
  6. Orange County VFA Parade – Sept 24th Howells Fire company

Music Sorting Day

Betsy

On Thursday, April 28, you are invited to participate in a music sorting, possibly creating new folders, possibly putting away music from years past. If you are interested in helping out, we are meeting at the Drew church at 9am on Thursday April 28th. Hope to see you there!
