Holiday Music for the Salvation Army Kettles

K-Mart Kettle 2005
playing Christmas music at K-Mart

In the past, the marching band has divided up into groups to provide some Christmas music for our local Salvation Army donation kettles. Now we’d like to invite all of our wind ensemble members to join us so we can make some beautiful music together and help the Salvation Army with their donation drive.

If possible, please make yourself available to help out our groups, because live music really increases the donations received. We do this for three weeks, usually starting the week after Thanksgiving. We also have a friendly kettle competition for bragging rights – skits are performed and judged at our yearly Christmas Party. I think KMART won last year….

Shop-rite – Montague NJ – Friday Nights at 7pm-9pm
Kmart – Westfall PA – Saturday at 12-2pm
Walmart – Westfall PA – Saturday at 1pm-3pm

I’ll post the final dates as soon as possible.
