Marching Season is here!!!

I would like to thank all the members who were able to make it to the past events.  We now have these events upcoming!!!! Please fill out the attached form to let me know who is going to be coming to these events.  We are getting new shirts and hope to have them for the July 9th Parade.

Event 1 – Marching band – July 4th Parade Monday in Glens Spey NY.  Meet at Town of Lumberland Firehouse at 11:30 Step off at noon.  Done by 1pm – all downhill.

Ending at Lumberland Town Hall / Circle Park – 1054 Proctor Rd, Glen Spey, NY 12737

Event 2 – July 9th – PJ Firemans Parade – Meet at Al’s 12:30pm for subs and water. Step off at 2:00pm.  Done by 4pm, Free to go back to firehouse and grab some food and drinks.!!! Be nice to go back and enjoy some relaxation.

Event 3 – Concert – Monday July 11th – Farnum Park.  Meet at 6:30 start at 7pm.  Multiple groups will be playing this also.

Event 4 – Marching Band – Tuesday Aug 2nd – PJ National Night Out – Meet at 5pm 

  • 5:00 PM: Line-Up – Parade at City Hall
  • 5:30 PM: Port Pride! Proud to be Drug-Free Parade

Summer concert series at Farnum Park, Port Jervis:

Confirmed dates:

  1. June 27
  2. July 11 (small groups and marching band will perform)
  3. July 25

Pending:

  1. Cornwall Library Concert, June 20 CANCELED
  2. Thematic concert in Deer Park in the fall.

Broome Street Bands – Events in parks – stand/sit and play (ALL MEMBERS are encouraged to attend – Music to be scanned/printed and shared)

Confirmed Dates:

  1. Flag day ceremony, Port Jervis City Hall June 14th 5:30pm. Patriotic music and small ceremony.
  2. Matamoras Veterans Park Ceremony on June 25th at 11am. Meet at 10:30am. We play before the ceremony starts.
  3. Deerpark Town Hall 9/11 ceremony on September 11 at 8:15am
  4. Matamoras Veteran’s Park 9/11 ceremoney on September 11 at 6:30pm

Parades – Marching Band

  1. Memorial Day Parade – Meet at 10:00am at PJ Middle School – Step off at 10:30am. Marching from Middle School to the Park @ the church.
  2. Soapbox Derby Parade – Sunday June 12th. Meet at Drew Church at 11:40 done by 12:30.  CANCELED
  3. July 4th Parade in Glen Spey. Meet at 11:30 at Lumberland firehouse
  4. Port Jervis Fireman’s Parade – July 9th. Meet at Al’s Music at 1pm Step off at 2pm
  5. General Montgomery Day – Sept 10th
  6. Orange County VFA Parade – Sept 24th Howells Fire company
