Dress has changed as per Jason: black or khaki shorts/pants/bottoms\, band shirt and hat. \nWe march the racers down Sussex St for the opening ceremony at the bottom of the hill.\nBecause it is also Flag Day\, we will play a few songs for the Flag Day Ceremony which will also happen at the bottom of the Sussex Street hill during the opening ceremony.

DESCRIPTION:The Matamoras Veteran’s Park is dedicating a new monument and they have requested patriotic music to be performed for about a half hour before the ceremony starts at 6pm on June 12th\, 2026. They would also like taps to be played after 2 singers perform. All musicians are encouraged to come and play for this stand or sit down event (no marching required). Please be there by 5:15pm so we can be ready to start playing by 5:30pm. Bring a stand or lyre and your march music folio. Dress is black top and black or neutral bottoms.
