We have always supported the Salvation Army Christmas Kettles in our region, usually at Shop-Rite and Walmart (and K-Mart when they were still around) at varying times for about 2 hours per session. Shop-Rite was always Friday evenings in December, but Salvation Army is no longer supporting evening kettle ringing. Stay tuned for details (I will post dates/info in our events section) – I’ll let you know as soon as I do!
We play live Christmas Carols around the kettle to promote donations. It really does help increase donations! Please come and play if you can! Bring a stand, your music booklets, clothes pins or clips and your instrument and dress warmly! It can get quite cold…
