Port Jervis Fireman’s Parade in Port Jervis NY 2026

Full Uniform! (band pants with red stripes, band shirt, band hat with star pin, black web belt, all black shoes/sneakers, black socks)

Line up at Port Jervis ASK/High School (10 Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771, United States) by 1:30pm. Step off at 2pm. If you think you can’t march up the Hamilton Street hill, meet at the corner of Hamilton St and Kingston Ave at lineup time to step into the line of march.

We march to downtown Port Jervis near the Erie Hotel and Restaurant. We lead the parade.

We are invited to the Neversink Fire Dept after the parade (corner of Orange St and Canal St, Port Jervis, next to Farnum Park) for food and refreshments and we will play some music for the participants.

We are the only band marching for Port Jervis, as all fire companies are marching as one unit. Please be there if you can!

The roads around Port Jervis will start to close at around 1 pm. Line-up at Port Jervis ASK/High School (10 Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771) no later than 1:30pm. We suggest parking your car near Al’s Music Shop so you can easily get to your car when we are done marching. We should be done with the parade by about 2:45pm. I expect all members to be at the Neversink Firehouse (25-27 Orange Street, corner of Orange St and Canal St, Port Jervis, next to Farnum Park) by about 3:30 so we can eat and then play a few fun songs for the fire department members. Awards are given out at 5pm. Once we are done playing, you will be free to leave.
If anyone wants a ride from Al’s to the line-up, I should have my truck available for a few people at 1pm but I can’t transport everyone.

Parade route:

1. Parade start/lineup at the middle/high school – Hamilton Street, march up the hill
2. left onto Kingston Avenue/ Route 209
3. right onto E Main Street
4. left onto Sussex Street
5. left onto Front Street – ends at Fowler Street near the Erie Depot
